The Second Triennial Exhibition of Chinese Art opened at Nanjing Museum, where the arts are presented through various media and cross-media experiments, including the paintings, videos, websites, installments and performance.

Nine of the 15 artists who were represented in the exhibition contemplated certain aspects of the "real" world. Half of them dealt with the subject of change, each from a personal perspective.
