< By Destiny > is the inaugural exhibition of ARARIO MUSEUM JEJU, which introduces the ARARIO collection. The fateful encounter of an individual and artworks led to the formation of the ARARIO collection, and this contributed to the openings of the ARARIO MUSEUM in SPACE located in Seoul, and the ARARIO MUSEUMs in Jeju Island. The harmonization of the buildings, used for various purposes located in Tapdong and Dongmun in the old city of Jeju, with contemporary works of art shows how destiny can exist within artworks and spaces. In this exhibition, while preserving the original building, contemporary works of art from both the East and the West bearing various social and cultural values will be exhibited in spaces over 8 meters large to small rooms located in the corners of the building. The viewers will be able to encounter art throughout the museum and discover the newly transformed Jeju. We hope that will be the beginning of a fateful meeting of the ARARIO MUSEUM and the viewers.
